With so much abandoned land on the mainland these days, Linden Lab could and should begin changing the Covenants for mainland regions and securing sections for protected paths or roadways, and then after accomplishing that, begin offering the land again for sale. I just, for the first time ever, installed the Firestorm SL Viewer. I always used the standard SL viewer because I always wanted to experience what most others were experiencing. I explored the SL 12th Birthday Premium Member destinations this morning. The two regions - SL12B Premium Coast and SL12B Premium Beach - are exactly the same as the Wilderness regions are - only smaller. It is sand, water, and places to sit. Logging into Second Life tonight my computer froze up right at the point of informing me of having offline notifications. I rebooted my PC and tried to log back in, but got the dreaded "We cannot log you in" message. I suppose my AV is still there ghosting on the grid. The Queen of the Sagittarian Sea, the S.S. Galaxy, purportedly the largest single build in Second Life, spanning the length of three regions, is now gone. For 8 years it had been a destination and home to many, but it sadly is now a thing of the past. It shut down on May 3, 2015.
